Charisma Reed.  You hate her. You love her.  The troublemaking cousin of Morgan and Isabelle certainly leaves an impression.  When she’s not plotting to get her way, she’s trying to keep up with her high-profile, football playing boyfriend and Seth’s arch-enemy, Lamont Brayer. 

Since she made her scandalous debut in For the Love of the Game, Charisma causes chaos wherever she goes.  Remember Morgan’s dinner party in The Blake Legacy?  And the game show incident in Love Notes & Football?  Charisma has been a staple in the Blake Boys series since it began.  Some readers believe she’s misunderstood.  Some think she’s just a bad penny.  

What do you think she’s been up to since we last saw her in Cowboy’s Heart?  The Reeds proved that family is important to them when they rescued her in Las Vegas.  Has she changed?  Is Lamont still in the picture?   There’s never a dull moment when this Reed woman is around.  Fear not Charisma fans, there are more of you out there than you realize and The Final Play wouldn’t be the same without her.

  2. Watch her be the one that Corbett clicks with… He maybe engaged now but I don’t think for much longer his current fiancé is just as bad as Charsmia if not worse.

  3. Coming from a family where I have a Charisma on a couple of branches off the family tree, I know how much of a bad penny she could turn out to be. But with that being said, I would like to see her mature and become closer with the family or at least civil. What I’m really hoping for is a bad penny period. I thought we had that in the actual bad penny, Penny Seth’s ex, but kind of fizzled out. Then I was hopeful it was Penny’s witchy little sister but fizzled out too. In my opinion that family got off wayyyyyyyyy to lightly. In my mind they are the arch-nemesis. By alas I love everything you write. So I look forward to trying not to compare Charisma to some cousins I have. Lol can’t wait for Off Season😊

      In theory, even the worse person surrounded by great people has to learn something from those around her. Hopefully this will resonate with Charisma one of these days. The Winterbournes are another group” button” pusher topic. Those who read Meet the Blakes know how far and deep the relationship with the Blakes and Winterbournes go. I will have a post about them one of these days.

  4. I agree, she’s messy, I can’t get past, that she purposefully went after Morgan’s boyfriend and then tried to go after Seth…being family she had certain leeway but not much. Everybody can be redeemable if they want to, but Charisma has done nothing to change, in Cowboy’s Heart, she didn’t change Morgan and Isabelle showed that, they were all about family, Charisma has continuously shown she is about her. You can only blame the parent to a certain extent Charisma is grown and has to take responsibility for what she has done. Sometimes people are just bad, we tolerate them because we have no choce.

      I can always count on you to weigh in on Charisma! I agree, she has done some crappy stuff and momma can only be accountable for so long before an individual takes responsibility for her own behavior.

  6. Great! I can’t wait to catch up with the drama name Charisma, we all one or two per family 😄 But I’m hoping that Charisma finds a good man & the strength to put her crazy money hungry mom in check!! I say give Charisma a chance she’s not all bad!!

      A little hope never hurt! Charisma has to decide if she wants to do that BIG overhaul and take a new path. No person can remain the same, they either get worse or make an attempt to better themselves. Time will tell.

  8. Charisma is messy because her Momma’s messy. Every family has them. We love them because their family but they don’t change. She wants to be a “Real Housewife”. And that’s not a Blake woman.
