Football has always been part of my life. I love the sport and I give it my all every time I step onto the field. Winning was the most important thing to me until the day I met Morgan Reed. I fell in love with her the second I saw her on that island. She had no idea who I was and when she found out, she wasn’t impressed by the money or the fame. She was beautiful, feisty and smart and when I looked into her pretty, soulful eyes, I could see my future with her. And it looked damn good.

Life can get hectic when you have a high-profile job like mine but Morgan keeps me grounded. We have a delicate balance to our lives that works. Jake, Connor and Colby are my world and I love being a dad. My boys are always getting into something and when you add their cousins Matt and Jack to the mix, it’s utter chaos. They remind me of the good old days of growing up with my brothers.

The decision to retire didn’t come easy but I know it’s the right thing to do. My priorities are changing and there are new adventures on the horizon. I’m looking forward to moving back to the ranch. The Blakes are a close-knit bunch and our brood keeps growing as we each find love and happiness. Whatever I do post football, it will be something that brings me fulfillment and won’t keep me away from Morgan and the boys.

It all began in For the Love of the Game when Morgan and I met in paradise. The family’s going to have a lot of fun in Meet the Blakes and I can’t wait to catch up with you in The Final Play. Our lives are changing again and it’s exciting. I’ve been trying to convince Morgan that it’s time for another addition to the family. She would love a little girl but worries that the family would spoil her rotten. She’s right.
