            “No.  Think of me as Kate’s evil twin.”

             People say Kate and I look alike.  I will admit there are similarities, we’re cousins after all.  She lives a high profile life while I prefer to remain in the shadows.  It wouldn’t be good for either of us to be mistaken for the other.  Still, it happens.  People who know us well can tell the difference. I tend to hear I lack her warmth and compassion. 

          There’s nothing more important to me than family.  And I do whatever it takes to keep them safe.  When Kate decided to move to California and start a record label with her friend John, I thought she was crazy.  But she wanted to go so I sent my good friend Andre to keep an eye on them.  Then Kate’s star talent died and things got hectic.  It took some doing but things got back on track.  She divorced that idiot director Jack and now she’s with Chris.  I like Chris.  He’s an actor but he doesn’t take himself seriously.  And he’s good for Kate.  What you see is what you get with him and I find his brutal honesty refreshing. 

          I don’t trust many people but I trust Scar and Athena.  We are three fractured parts that make up a dysfunctional whole. They watch over Kate and Chris when I have to disappear for a while.  My family history is muddled and complicated.  I have a few mysteries of my own to solve.  Luckily my husband Dominic understands my need to stay close to my cousin and protect her. Well, he understands everything except my relationship with Andre.  There are people out there that want to see Kate fail or worse, they want her out of the way entirely. I won’t let that happen. 

          I made my debut in Star Crossed to support Kate when she was going through her media frenzied divorce drama with Jack.  I remained out of sight in Hollywood Rush until the attempt on Chris and Kate’s lives.  Scar, Athena and I will keep a watchful eye on things in Double Exposure.  Things go nuclear as the stakes are raised in the upcoming Vendetta Inc.
